Description
Rare 1961 UK 1st pressing soul pop single from The Marvelettes – Please Mr Postman / So long baby – made rarer still by the name misprint on the labels (their name is spelled Marvellettes).
The blue and silver Fontana (3-prong pushout centre) labels are in close to Excellent condition, just a little spindle wear both sides.
The vinyl has hairlines and scuffs but no feelable scratches, and it plays through well both sides with only minor surface noise, which the music comfortably overpowers.
Comes in an original red and white Fontana company sleeve in Good+ condition (some writing on one side and a couple of tears by the centre hole on the other).
Great find - especially in this condition.
Sensible start price!
