The disc looks really bright and clean and there are no scuff marks, or blemishes on the record. There is a tiny bit of background noise noticeable in parts of the record, but considering its age, I think this is acceptable. However, this is why it’s marked down from EX+ or Near Mint. I prefer to be stricter in my ratings than many.
The sleeve is in excellent condition too. There is some very light wear in the bottom corner of the front cover, but it’s barely noticeable – the front sleeve is otherwise bright and clean. The rear shows very little sign of its age. It’s clean and shows only a very little aging colour shift which all old records with white backgrounds display.
A really great example of a rare, highly collectable Motown classic LP.
