Description
Super rare NW primitive beatnik rock 45 from the personal collection of Tom Ogilvy. The Madmen Of Note "Club 21" /"Peppermint Fink" 1963. Rarely do we use anything higher than EX+, unless it is known unplayed or still sealed. This 45 appears to be virtually unplayed and sounds great. Labels are unmarked. Madmen Of Note aka Mad Men Of Note were from Lake Stevens WA north of Seattle.
Back in the late 80's early 90's Jeff visited Tom Ogilvy at his home. On one of the visits Jeff had a Reel to Reel Tape of Clayton Watson and The Silhouettes that Tom recorded onto a Cassette for him. He also bought some records from him. After Tom died in 2000, Jeff visited his wife Ellen and purchased more 45's from his collection.
