Description

The Louvin Brothers "Satan Is Real" Capitol T1277, 1959. A very clean and presentable mono copy of this country-gospel classic. Cover is a strong VG/VG+ with vibrant color, just a slight whisper of ring wear along upper edge. 3 1/2 inch older tape repair seam split along upper right hand edge. Small 1 3/4 inch crease in cover slick which does not extend to the sleeve at very bottom right hand front. Back cover very clean with no rips or tears or fading, just a slight discoloration along upper edge. Vinyl strong VG++, beautiful gloss, labels perfect with no finger marks or stickering, extremely slight paper scuffs on both sides only visible under direct light which absolutely do not affect play. A beautiful pressing which plays with much warmth and presence. Original and correct Capitol inner sleeve faded along outer edges, small 1 1/2 inch seam tear at center bottom.
