<PLEASE READ IN FULL>
You are bidding on (1) 10” original Acetate recording by The Lost Souls – a 1960’s Garage band. Recorded at Regent Sound Studios NY, NY – exact date unknown. It has a typed record label on studio stock and a blank reverse. Track #1 has a deep scratch and it skips, but the rest of the record plays ok with some haze, with no loud pops or clicks. Normally, I would throw out any record that skips, but when I looked this up, I found that most of this material was NEVER released formally on any LP by this group. So, here is your chance to own something quite RARE. I believe that this is the Australian band, as Regent NY was an international label at the time. The lead singer sounds a bit like Mick Jagger. The tracks are:
1. I want you
2. I can’t believe
3. Johnny be good
4. Gonna lose that girl.
5. Hang on Sloopy
Condition: There are (2) heavy scratches/ gauges at the start of Track 1 and then multiple other scratches on this recording. I would rate this Fair+/good- at best Record has some tiny spots here and there but it is still very glossy and not shaved down. There are nicks that show through to the metal at the spindle hole (center) and a few edge nicks showing metal from the reverse.
