Description
This record pressed in Uruguay 1969 on the white/blue Antar label 12-801
This is a very very hard record to find in any condition and I give you as full a description as I can for this IMPOSSIBLE record
All tracks as UK pressing except Sitting by the riverside omitted and Days included
I will endeavour to give a good description as possible and will be critical.
The Sleeve is in VG condition: edge wear and a seam split bottom near spine 8cm
Spine in good condition with wording The Kinks - Music Hall 12 801 clear and readable.
Lamination sound with small crease top left corner.
Opening is sound without tears, top and bottom worn but still intact.
Please see all photos, if you need more just ask.
The record condition, looks ex+ and alas plays slightly less than that.
Crackle in quieter bits and the odd pop
Side 1 Small skip on track 1 and track 5 a couple pops and small skip,
Side 2 plays through without skips on my deck.
I have just played through and enjoyed the record very much.
Could do with a professional clean.
But what a record!

This album is extremely unique as the Jacket is nearly identical to the UK version with a few exceptions: It is not a gatefold, it is made out of poster-board like the USA album rather than the UK's "G&L" flimsy sleeve, and has that green "Bar" underneath the band's name. There is a major difference with the Uruguay pressing: This album is very different than the other versions which were distributed in most countries (except South Africa) in that it includes the song "Days" and still has the modified 15 song track list. Also, this album is in Mono. Most every other country's pressings were released in Stereo. No Stereo version of the Uruguay LP exists.
Most of these other Stereo pressings still used the deleted 12 song variation of the album. Finally, I have never seen a Stereo VGPS with "Days" which didn't have "Mr. Songbird" on it!
