Labels
Pink Pye first pressing of this magnificent release labels absolutely stunning with no mottling. No peeling. No graffiti. No lifting. No rips. No tears. Several spiderlines visible but quite lightly played and very carefully handled as the flash residue can still be viewed. How rare is that! The pink coloration is truly awesome, very vivid and unfaded , producing a remarkable spectacle against the highly polished surfaces of the jet black of the vinyl. Ex++!
Vinyl
Surfaces appear virtually unmarked under ordinary light. Under a strong halogen, can observe one or two light hairlines beneath the sheen but hardly noticeable.Heavy weight thick cut giant, gives a buzz when held. A genuine vintage pressing and looks quite stunning. Excellent visual.
Sleeve
Single laminated front with trifold flipback . Small crease on front face.Sleeve with 1ins. lower flipback edge+ top right missing but ultra clean. Garrrod & Lofthouse patents pending credits. Mega rare and highly sought after in the collectors’ world, ex- condition. Beautifully laminated , full gloss front face with a magnificent sheen.
Audio
Truly sensational with nothing to fault. Launches the listener into Till the End of the Day with a phenomenal atmosphere of the concert . Screaming girls…audience participation, Ray and Dave introducing the songs…A must have for all serious Kinks fans and vinyl enthusiasts. Quite faultless with very little and virtually no hisses, pops or crackle . One of The best Kinks performances delivered through exceptionally clear channels. There seemed to be a repetitive click at the very start of side one, before the concert began. On closer scrutiny at the grooves on the vinyl edge, I could find nothing visual to report but does not interfere with the delivery anyway.
A remarkable vinyl with clear channels all the way through this amazing concert performance,The Kinks singing fantastic tracks, such as A well respected Man, Dandy, Sunny Afternoon, and the hit single You really Got Me. The icing goes on the cake when you hear them singing Milk Cow Blues ( Batman)-if that doesn’t get you going, nothing will!
Impossible rarity to locate especially in this stunning condition. Clear audio channels and ultra clean! True investment quality. Never seen a better example of this mega rare release!
