Company. Decent condition and a rare original New Zealand bag.
Condition – Record
This must be one of the rarest ever Kinks singles. It sold in tiny quantities in the UK (Even less than Long Tall Sally) and must have sold in miniscule amounts in New Zealand.There are currently no copies for sale on Discogs and it has never sold there either.
First the bad news. At first sight I graded the vinyl as F, as there are numerous marks on both sides. It looks like is has been left out of it's cover for some time.
Good News 1. None of the numerous marks are really "feelable" and are mostly from being left out of it's cover. None are actually deep scratches.
Good News 2. I've just played both sides and they play through perfectly, with no jumps or sticks at all. There is some loud crackle on the run in grooves, but very little noise at all during the songs at all. Both songs are quite upbeat, so any crackle is almost unnoticeable. From a playing point of view it would grade at least VG, although it does not look like it from the record!
As it's never sold on Discogs before I'll start it extremely low and see where it goes.
