Description

The Kinks - The village Green Preservation Society

First Pressing - UK Pye NPL 18233 MONO

Cover condition: Good - normal wear around the corners, quite minimal for such a delicate sleeve of this age, the spine has some wear from use but the text on the spine is fully readable with only small fragments missing.  Inside the gatefold the condition is excellent.

Vinyl condition:

side 1 - light surface marks that do not effect play, just noticed a few quiet pops on Johnny Thunder for a few seconds.  Clean label.

side 2 - light surface marks that do not effect play EXCEPT (and this is the sad part) - there is a deep/wide scratch across most of 'People take pictures of each other' the last track on side 2 (see circled area in picture).  I cannot confirm what effect this has I don't want to damage my stylus!  Probably a multi-skipping effect which will reduce the track from 2 minutes down to 1!  Clean label.

Due to the good condition of the sleeve it could definitely be used as a replacement and matched with a better condition vinyl.

As I have described/illustrated the condition of this item accurately there will be no returns accepted so please read the description carefully and look at the pictures provided.

Many thanks for looking, any questions please let me know.
