Original 1973 USA pressing. Collection of rare and previously unreleased songs. Comes with original two sided insert with extensive liner notes by John Mendelsohn. Fantastic stuff on this album which the group never got around to releasing - rather like the excellent "Odds & Sodds" by the Who but way, way harder to find. According to the notes on the insert these songs were recorded - and probably composed around the time of their masterpiece "The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society".
Condition: the vinyl is visually between VG+ and EX with a low amount of scuffing. The music on side 1 plays cleanly except for 3 soft clicks (2 are so soft they are just barley audible). Side 2 plays cleanly except for 5 soft clicks in "Pictures in the Sand" 2 of which are at the end in the fade out. Very little noise in between tracks - almost none. There is a click between tracks on side 2 though that is at about half the volume of the music. The cover is VG+ with the ring wear evident in the photos and a factory delete cut corner on the bottom right. 2 inch seam split on the top right edge. The insert is EX.
