Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
In both the US and UK, The Kink Kontroversy was only released in mono, as no stereo mix was ever made.
The single "Till the End of the Day" was a major hit, reaching #8 in the UK[1] and #50 in the US, spending eight weeks or more in each chart.[2]
- This record is a monaural recording on very thick vinyl with the Reprise tri-color riverboat label.
- It is a First Pressing.
- The matrix ends in 1C & 1D.
- The paper on board cover has tight seams. There are a couple separations along the opening edge.
- The inner sleeve has some really old reprise catalog on both sides
- the cover and sleeve have both faded with age.
- This copy has never been played.
- It is a one owner. Seller got it new sometime in the late sixties. It has been in storage for about 50 years.
