The Kinks Live at Kelvin Hall - 1968 Mono - Vinyl.

The vinyl has been played very few times, minimal lines around the spindle hole, though there is some ‘bobbling’ effect shown in photos, I’m not sure of the cause, whether from playing or possibly a manufacturing artefact ……..there are no scratches or fingernail marks on either side only hairlines - The photos are accurate as to the vinyl’s condition. There aren’t any breaks in recording between the tracks. Whilst the vinyl isn’t 180g - 200g in weight it is much heavier/sturdier than the average 120 - 140g, I’d estimate it’s at least 160g. It’s very solid. Because of its weight and lack of track breaks it reminds me in appearance of the old 78rpm shellac records. Ringwear is only evident on the laminated front cover, the mat back cover is clear, the cover, a flipback, is good all round, no rips, tears or cello tape. I don’t know if the sleeve is the original sleeve, the sleeve with my record has no writing on it at all - white paper with cellophane lining. On the back cover next to the side 1 track listing, Sunny Afternoon - Ray, is a small stamp of 32 / 5 and the fraction for a half. I have no idea what this represents. You can see it on the photo of the rear cover. For a vinyl record over 55 years old this is an exceptional copy - only fitting really for an exceptional band, in my top ten of best British bands of all time.
