MATRIX NOs NN 1096-A1T / NN 18096-B1T KT etched in both run offs and looks like a 2 has been etched over the 1 ?
COVER
This is the original Garrod & Lofthouse tri-flapped cover with the patents pending text on the rear panel ! Unlike most of these examples , this one has survived very well for such a popular album cover like this. The front panel is very clean and bright with no laminate lifting etc and just some creases to fault , with one across the top right corner , some small curved , thumb push creases towards the opening edge and some small stress creases from the edges ! However no lifting or bubbles and the laminate on the whole is very clean and bright .The spine has a couple of creases present but no wear and the text is full readable.The rear panel ( which is normally covered in writing and nasty coffee stains etc ) is still presentable with no major stains or writing , there is a little toning along the opening edge but overall it's clean.The corners have a little bruising but this is minor and does not affect the overall appearance , with these points considered , it's not a near mint example , but a very worthy , clean one that is above the average offered ( see-pics ) strong VERY GOOD PLUS CONDITION !
VINYL
Both sides have a nice glossy shine and nothing more than a couple of faint surface lines , no scratches or scuffs and these are harmless marks that are only visable when viewed at an angle in the right light , certainly nothing to affect the audio quality , both sides play though very clear and crisp sound on all tracks with no pops, skips or clicks and just a faint , low level crackle inbetween some tracks. This is a great sounding lp which is very hard to find these days ! Visualy and audibly EXCELLENT MINUS CONDITION
LABELS Both labels are in clean shape and not spoilt with writing , stickers or stains but there are many spindle marks to each side which are very hard to avoid on these labels , overall a well used / clean set - strong VERY GOOD CONDITION ! INNER Complete with the original PYE advertising / poly-lined inner sleeve , also not spoilt with writing , stains etc , just some storage creases ( see-pic) PLEASE READ INFORMATION BELOW FOR GRADING,PACKING AND POSTAGE DETAILS. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------GRADING:
ITEMS ARE GRADED USING THE UK RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM.ALL ITEMS ARE PLAY GRADED AT VOLUME AND ARE VISUALY INSPECTED BOTH IN DAYLIGHT AND UNDER STRONG LIGHTING WITH DETAILED DESCRIPTION.
PACKING:
DISCS ARE ALWAYS REMOVED FROM THEIR COVERS AND HOUSED IN PROTECTIVE PLASTIC SLEEVES.THEY ARE THEN PLACED BETWEEN RIGID CARD STIFFERNERS AND THEN CAREFULLY PACKED IN STRONG PROFESSIONAL CUSTOM MADE BOXES. THUS GIVING MAXIMUM PROTECTION, SO YOU RECIEVE THE ITEM IN THE SAME CONDITION AS IT LEFT US.
