Hi, my name is Tommy and I’ve been collecting records for many, many years now. I’ve taken the hard decision to sell off some of my collection, so I can concentrate my collection in one specific area. So please look at my other listings. All my records are stored in protective plastic sleeves, standing upright with no pressure on them. Will be listing many more over the next few months..:(
Listed here is a RARE album by The Kinks titled Kinda Kinks. This is a UK Original 1st Pressing on PYE NPL 18112. This Mono copy is pressed on the very collectable Pink/Black PYE label. This record is becoming harder and harder to track down. Sleeve is printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. Also has the first press Matrix numbers.
Matrix numbers: NN 1112 A-1 / NN 1112 B-1
VINYL - Both sides of the record are in EX- condition. Tiny trace of background noise/static, which is only noticeable between the tracks and run-ins, and even then it’s barely noticeable. NO skips, NO Jumps, NO sticking. Couple of light pops, couple of hairline scratches, that don’t affect the play, apart from one tiny one on the start a side 1 that causes a couple of very light clicks, they don’t last for long. Vinyl is still very glossy and shinny. It truly sounds and looks fantastic, if it’s wasn’t for the clicks mentioned I would grade it Near Mint.
SLEEVE - The Laminated flipback sleeve is in VG+ condition. NO spine wear (text is all readable), minor edge wear, NO Rips, NO Tears, NO Writing, NO Splits. Some creasing to edges, NO ring wear, NO Marks. Still has a lovely shine to it (see photo)
Inner is in EX condition, NO Rips or Tears.
Label’s in EX condition. Small amount of spindle marks.
(note: never grade Mint as I believe once it’s been played, even just once it’s no longer Mint)
