Description
Very rare test pressings of The Kinks - French reissue E.P. (first issued in 1965) made in preparation of the 4/22/17 RSD reissue, cat #BMG 538266161. These are two of maybe five total white labels that were made to check the mastering and pressing quality. And the reason I am selling two here is that one is 45rpm (like the released version) and one was mastered incorrectly at 33.3 RPM! This was corrected before the EP hit the shops. These 2 test pressings are being sold together as a set
The music on the discs is:
A - All Day And All Of The Night/I'm A Lover Not A Fighter
B - I Gotta Move/Long Tall Shorty
The EP's pictured are what you are buying - they come in the generic white sleeves they were originally delivered in.
Discs are both close to NM-, played once, no visible scratches, some dust and minor fingerprints which I will let you clean. One disc has storage marks from sleeve.
I have to downsize, so I am selling off some other test pressings from my collection if you are looking for more of the same!
