An EXCELLENT example of their 4th studio album and their first to consist entirely of Ray Davies compositions.

It dates from initial March 1966 release on the textured cerise/pink PYE label: NPL.18149
 

Matrix numbers: NPL18149 A2 H & NPL18149 B1 H

Stamper codes: F/1 & H/1

Vinyl weight: 142g


Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover, complete with original rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.


CONDITION

Disc: EXCELLENT

This well-looked after and careful played example retains clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are free from any significant surface marks or wear. Close inspection beneath halogen light reveals little more than a couple of light surface lines, a few faint marks from the inner-sleeve and a sparkling rainbow shine. The sound quality is clean & unworn throughout with no clicks, pops, jumps or any other audible distractions or faults.

Cover: VERY GOOD +

Fully intact with a vibrant, high-gloss front panel laminate which is free from any 'thumbnails' or creasing. There are some aged handling marks on the rear panel, but no writing or missing paper anywhere and both seams & the spine are unworn.
