Description

A 1st issue of 'Face to Face' on the UK Pye label. Matrix A2/B2. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse flipback cover.
Vinyl (Ex) Has been well cared for and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a number of light marks - please be assured these are superficial surface type marks, visible, but of zero consequence to a pressing of this weight. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity and minimal interference. All we detected was a touch of light static in the odd place and this is really only even vaguely noticeable inbetween a couple of tracks. Playback really is off an excellent standard with that bold mono sound coming through loud and clear. A very nice specimen indeed.
Cover (Ex) Just by holding this LP you can tell someone has taken great care of it down the years. Most copies will have some form of ageing on the rear and will most likely be creased. Not here, this copy is in very rude health indeed. The owner has originally taped the edges and this has left some residue at the extreme edge. On the flipside [if you pardon the pun] this has actually further aided preservation on this copy. The front has not aged, shiny, and free of creasing. The rear is totally free of ageing apart from the extreme opening edge. This is very very unusual on one of these early KINKs Lps. Edge wear is very minor too and overall the cover retains perfect rigidity.
