Description
An original, 1966, mono, UK copy of The Kinks' 'Face To Face' LP on the Pye label.
The front of the sleeve has a few creases on the edges but still looks shiny and attractive. The back of the sleeve has some grubby marks and wear as well as an area where it looks like a sticky label was removed below a name written in Biro (please see photos). The original inner sleeve feels like it is lined with fine paper, rather than plastic. I always stored the disc in a poly-lined inner sleeve to protect it from further damage.
Side 1 has a few spindle marks on the label and scattered fine surface scratches on the vinyl. Side 2 has many spindle marks on the label and a lot more fine surface scratches on the vinyl. It looks like side 1 was played a lot more and the record then placed, side 2 downward, on a surface. As a result, side 2 is a lot more crackly than side 1. There are no discrete, loud pops or clicks.
