Description
The Kinks Face To Face 1966 Original Shrinkwrap Stereo Reprise VG+/VG Cover: VG+. Nice cover in shrink with promo/cut-out grommet top left. Shrink has protected the fragile Reprise slick/carboard combo from fraying for the most part.The bottom front/back( disc entry area) corner has fraying where the shrink seam ends.Slight bump/split at top corner on front(disc entry area). Titles on main spine are just off center,tending towards front cover(see photos).
Disc: VG.Visually,there is a haze over both sides,so,very little gloss.But,no scratches under bright light. Disc plays nicely but not without flaw.Light to moderate crackle in between the tracks throughout.Mostly very light and never overpowers the music which comes through clearly. There is a slight "swish" sound in between the tracks after "Session Man" until the end of "House In The Country".Again,not heard when the music comes in. There was a skip at the beginning of Nicky Hopkin's harpsichord intro to "Session Man",but I tested it on two other turntables tonight and it didn't skip at all,so-no skips on either side as I type.This was my main copy since the 80s-an enjoyable listen.
