This auction is for an unplayed copy of The Kinks 'Black Album' from the Kevin Gray-mastered Kinks 'Mono Collection' boxset. Having given up waiting for individual releases of the contained albums I decided to buy the box for the ones that I want and sell-off the albums that I don't. Sleeve and discs (2 LP-set) are mint and unplayed, although the latter do bear some of the superficial pressing markings that are regrettably all too common with modern vinyl pressings, and I returned two copies of this boxset to Amazon before I found one that was free of unacceptable disc blemishes and sleeve damage. Unfortunately, and for reasons ostensibly beyond their control, the record company insisted on cutting this  compilation LP from digital (presumably to ensure only one pass of the master tapes), but at least the mono masters are the source.

I'm auctioning half of the boxset, i.e., 'Kinda Kinks', 'Kink Kontroversy', 'Live at Kelvin Hall', 'Arthur', and the "Black Album", all mono, all unplayed, all mint-sleeved, and all with the same £15 start-price -- including free postage anywhere in the EU, so a bargain to be had.

As a collector of vinyl myself I appreciate the importance of robust packing so the disc and sleeve will be posted in a custom LP mailer with cardboard stiffening to both sides and bubblewrap to the four corners to avoid corner bumping/crushing.
