Description

The Kinks - Arthur (Or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire) Stereo

UK 1969 PYE LP NSPL 18317

A lovely original complete copy - vinyl, sleeve, lyric insert, inner sleeve. The vinyl sounds great - played through with a Technics SL1210 to check, plays through without any problem, no sticks, jumps or loss in sound quality at all. A little crackle between tracks and in quiet areas but that's being very picky. There are a few superficial storage marks but theses don't affect play at all. Please see photos. VG+ (at least) visually but Ex sound quality.

Audiophiles opinion is that the Stereo version of Arthur is superior to the Mono version - unlike the previous Kinks LPs.

The inner Victoria lyric sheet is also present in great condition! This usually is missing so is a bonus.

The sleeve has some wear and a little clear tape repair, edges aren't bad, spine has a little wear but all still legible. A crease or two (one on front) It is still a very decent collectors copy. Please see photos.
