Description

DESCRIPTION: The Kinks- 1st self titled Lp. 1st UK press with Front lamnated flipback sleeve and correct whte die-cut inner. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: PYE NPL 18096 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1964 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): G/VG. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen. It has a lot of light hairlines and brushng lines. Played the majority of this today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. The music sounds pretty much EX. There is really only a trace of background sound between some tracks and the odd tick. Cover is in really nice shape. It is firm and square and has only light edgewear, cornerwear and creasing. It has a couple of small nibbles out of opening edge and one patch of discolouration to rear of sleeve. Flipbacks are clean and intact. Clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. . Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. ALL ITEMS (OR COMBINATIONOF ITEMS) SELLING FOR OVER £30 MUST BE SENT SIGNED FOR OR AIRSURE TO COMPLY WITH PAYPAL POLICIES- ASK ME FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
