The KLF: America: What Time is January? - KLF 92 Promo 2  – limited to 50 copies

 

You are bidding on KLF 92 Promo 2.  This was limited to 50 copies and as I understand, it was given to friends and family as a Christmas / New Year’s present.  It is a one sided, white label, although technically the label is slightly pink.  The track begins with the “Auld Lang Syne" bagpipe intro in the unique style of the KLF.  The main content of the mix is not the same as the commercially released versions of America: What Time is Love.  The key difference is that it appears that most, if not all of the Glenn Hughes vocals are removed, as well as the Wanda Dee samples, and the callouts of all the US cities.  The track length is approximately 7:23.    This remix was never officially released on CD.    

Condition:  The condition of the record is excellent due to a few light scratches on the surface.  They do not negatively affect the playback, and the record sounds fantastic.  If I would attempt to grade it would be somewhere between Near Mint and Excellent.  The sleeve is probably Excellent due to slight edge wear, and some signs of slight creasing/folding.  Please see the pictures and judge for yourself.  One of the pictures I have boosted the contrast to make the Matrix / Runout text more visible.
