Here’s a very rare double-LP transcription of a radio show that aired in 1982. It’s a four-side documentary-style program with lots of interviews from all of the Beatles, as well as Brian Epstein, Elton John and other peers and collaborators. It follows John’s life from the very early Beatles until his death, and includes full tracks of the Beatles and John solo. It also includes a rare live performance of “When I Saw Her Standing There” that Lennon did with Elton John’s band. Both discs play perfectly but have a dishwarp--the sort that is evident on one side but not the other. I’ve taken the audio below directly from these discs:
