Excellent Condition "The John Coltrane Quartet Plays" - **Original US Impulse Label - AS-85 - Gatefold LP**
Stereo Record - Stamped "Van Gelder" on both sides and "AS-85-A" on side 1 and "AS-85-B" on side 2 in the "dead wax".
Cover shows minor shelf wear, record is excellent, showing no label wear, spine is almost perfect (see pictures), heavy glossy cardboard cover with no breaks, rips, or tears, in original "Impulse" paper sleeve (which also has no breaks, rips, or tears!).
Overall, an amazing looking record for being 50+ years old!!
I got this (and many other records) from a retired Air Force Officer who took care of - and pride in - his record collection . . .
