There were only 5,000 of these made, in the velvet boxes, back in year 2000. Good selection of tracks, some previously unreleased, some from out-of-print albums - picks the best tracks off "Hendrix In the West", for example. I bought mine new, when it was released. It has been kept with care, I was aware that the box would damage easily.

Box etc - Velvet lid is very good, not torn, no loss of surface, but a bit stained from handling (and just generally existing) along top edge of front - see my pictures. sides have bowed out just a little, which tends to happen - see photo of back of box. Large booklet looks excellent. There are 8 inners, made of light card, each with tracklist and different photos. I took the records out of these ages ago, and they have remained in excellent condition.

Records - more detail to follow on this, but four sides have no damage at all, several sides only trivial light marks, and several sides with heavier marks or scratches. In addition to any faults I mention specifically, there are various surface marks, some of which may be paper scuffs - the inners, being glossy light card, aren't very record-friendly. Some other marks may be just swirls in the vinyl - the vinyl isn't all uniformly black and shiny.  

Details below from careful visual inspection, then a bit of a listening test..

Disk One - side one - has a light fingernail mark on track 4, and some tiny impacts at the start of track 5. On side two, a bunch of tiny impacts along the grooves on track 1, and a very light fingernail-type mark on track 3.

Disk Two - Both sides look in excellent condition.

Disk Three - On side one, about 3 very short scratches on track 1, and a short fingernail mark on track 2. No problems on side two.

Disk Four - On side one, there is a light scratch on second half of track 1, going across first half of track 2. Side two looks excellent.

Disk Five - On side one, at start of track 1, there is a very short fingernail mark and a very short scratch, plus a tiny mark / impact. On side two, there's a very light scratch on track 2.  

Disk Six - On side one, there's a short fingernail mark on track 1. There is a long impact, impact on track 1 then landing again on track 2 - impact is heavier on track 2. On side two, there's a light scratch on track 1, and a surface mark on tracks 1 and 2.

Disk Seven - On side one, track 3, I see a long noticeable scuff and a short scratch. On side two, I see a scratch and a tiny impact on track 1, and a light scratch along the grooves on track 2.

Disk Eight - On side one, there's a scratch on second half of track 1, just going into the start of track 2. On side two, there's a long impact, starting on track 1 and going onto track 2 - light on track 1, heavier on track 2. 

Listening test - I have listened to the three sides with damage that I thought might be audible - disk 6 side A, disk 7 side A, and disk 8 side B. All of the tracks played with no audible effect from the damages I saw - except that disk 6 track 2 - Voodoo Chlie slight return, live - has a quiet passage before second vocal verse, where crackling can be heard.

Postage at cost within UK - courier cost for this item, which weighs over 3 kilos (and it'll weigh more once I've parcelled it up), would be £6.49.

I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.

They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.

This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.

E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery and customs charges are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges individually for the items, then do not bid.

Overseas customers - please DON'T request an invoice - there is no combined postage, I can't make one, and it screws-up the e-bay system.

International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme.

If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid.

Applicable customs charges will probably be shown to buyers in non-EU countries - E-Bay collects customs duty for the receiving country, wherever import duty is appropriate. If you don't want to pay the customs charges, do not bid.

I don't send to China (because I prefer not to), and I also don't send to Japan, Brazil, Ecuador and Peru, as importation of vinyl records is not permitted in their customs regulations.
