Description
Bought from new soon after release and played frequently and carefully on a Goldring Lenco deck.This a rarer variation of the later gatefold sleeve pressing (first run of covers had the white text).
It has all-blue text on the inner cover, and the Hendrix picture is on the left. Whereas in the more common version the Hendrix photo is on the right. This is a result of the spread being rotated in production. This can go unnoticed, as the spread is viewed vertically for it to be read, rather than horizontally. See photo.
Photo is of actual cover showing small scuff, contains original inner sleeve, no major defects in either.
Part of my collection that has been stored in cool conditions throughout, and will need a good clean before you play it. Record will be dispatched in a Vinyl LP Record Box Mailer, corrugated and strong, to prevent damage. International buyers pay £2.60 surcharge because of the extra weight of a double album, though you may choose any courier/service of your choice.

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Electric Ladyland is the third and final studio album by English-American rock band the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Released by Reprise Records in North America and Track Records in the UK in October 1968, the double album was the only record from the band produced by Jimi Hendrix. By mid-November, it had charted at number one in the United States, where it spent two weeks at the top spot. Electric Ladyland was the Experience's most commercially successful release and their only number one album. It peaked at number six in the UK, where it spent 12 weeks on the chart.
Electric Ladyland included a cover of the Bob Dylan song "All Along the Watchtower", which became the Experience's best-selling single, peaking at number six in the UK and 20 in the US. Although the album confounded critics in 1968, it has since been viewed as Hendrix's best work and one of the greatest rock records of all time. As was common with multi-LP albums, sides one and four were pressed back to back on the same platter, likewise sides two and three. This was called auto-coupling or automatic sequence and was intended to make it easier to play through the entire album in sequence on automatic record-changers.Tracklist

Hi Johnny, I tried to track down the actual release using the discogs website, but the only info I could find is
Regarding the early copies of the original UK pressing of the gatefold cover, this is the correct pressing order:
1) White type/smaller photos.
2) Blue type/larger photos.
3) White type/smaller photos (with a bit of blue)
This would indicate that this is an early copy as I have the cover described in number 2 above, I have not swapped the records or cover, they are the ones I originally bought.
The matrix numbers are
