Description
A 1972, Track Records, UK reissue of The Jimi Hendrix Experience's 'Electric Ladyland' LP.
I made a mistake when I recently listed this LP. I thought it was a 1968 issue but the winner of the auction informed me that it is, in fact, a 1972 reissue. The most obvious difference is in the orientation of the pictures in the gatefold. We agreed to cancel the sale. I've corrected the date for this listing.
The sleeve has moderate creasing as well as superficial wear of the laminate on the outside of the sleeve (please see photos).
Matrix numbers:
Side A - 6130 [figures scratched out] 8 A//1; Side B - 613009 A [inverted triangle] 2; Side C - 613009 B // 2; Side D - 613008 B [inverted triangle] 2.
Side A has several spindle marks on the label. Side B has multiple spindle marks on the label. Side C has a few spindle marks on the label. Side D has several spindle marks on the label.
There is an area of visually obvious superficial marks or scratches across the end of track 1 on side D ('Still Raining, Still Dreaming') and I can hear a light tick on my turntable. All sides have a few scattered, fine surface marks under bright light so there is some light background crackling without discrete pops or clicks.
The original inner sleeves are present but I always used poly-lined inner sleeves to prevent further damage to the discs.
I use Covers 33 'deluxe' mailing boxes.
I'd prefer not to ship overseas because of the associated customs issues.
