Description

Original 1968 Vinyl LP Jimi Hendrix Experience Track Label.


Sleeve VGC Mild creasing and handling only, strangely I’ve seen quite a few copies of this Hendrix LP that most fans regard as being his true masterpiece, but not one that has the photo of Jimi and Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding on the OUTSIDE of the gatefold cover while the 19 naked ladies are on the inside. I wondered originally if the original owner had decided to try and reverse the sleeve themselves to have the nude photo on the inside, but if you try to close the cover that way it won’t close, naturally it closes with the nudes on the inside. I’m not sure if that means it’s a factory mispress of some kind as I’ve not seen any other copies that do this. I’m sure the hardcore Hendrix collectors out there will know what this difference is.
