An original stereo and ultra rare copy of THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE 'ELECTRIC LADYLAND' double album from 1968 on Track records matrix numbers 613 008/9 which is made even more remarkable as it is a MISSPRESS. The whole package is graded as VG. The original nude gatefold sleeve is laminated and still shines both front back and on the inside. There is some wrinkling to the laminate and as seen on the photos there is a crease to the top left on the rear. The sleeve is completely intact however with no rips or tears. The records themselves bear the hallmark of having been played with some marks but these in no way effect the playing quality. There are no scratches jumps or clicks and the record plays with no crackles throughout. The sleeve was later withdrawn and is not even available to my knowledge on CD. It's thought that Jimi never liked the sleeve itself and whilst one would in this day and age question it's taste there's no doubt about the power of the music itself and may well constitute his best work. This is a rare opportunity to own this classic double album. However what makes this record even more unique is that it's a misspressing - side A on record 1 is labelled with and contains Side D on the reverse whilst record 2 has Side B on one side and is labelled with and contains Side C on the reverse. The record plays beautifully and is a 'must own' item for any self respecting Hendrix and classic rock fan. As with all of my items there is no reserve price. If you want it get bidding - you may never see its like again!
