COMMENTS: The Jayhawks' major-label debut is a tricky record to track down. Pressed in small numbers on initial release, this recording has since gained classic status, so it rarely appears for sale on ebay.
This particular copy has sat on my brothers record shelf for over 16 years - unplayed. He purchased it on the year of release - played it several times on a Linn deck he owned at the time, but then bought a CD player so gradually replaced his collection and stored it away... it has laid idle since mid 1994. Hopefully the pictures adequately represent its excellent condition. Don't miss this rare chance to get your hands on this stunning copy!
CONDITION: Vinyl is a conservative Ex. Many would grade it Near Mint, but I have examined it under strong light there are some limited and very minor paper marks, but no scratches and certainly nothing that affects playback. The vinyl has retained its initial shine and looks superb. The centre disc labels are perfect with no wear or damage around the spindle holes. In short ... it is a fantastic copy.
Cover is EX with only very minor typical shelf wear defects. There is the start of some very faint ringwear to the top of the front cover.... But that is it really. The spine and edges are still stiff with barely any wear and there are absolutely no creases or dents anywear. The inner sleeve is also in fantastic shape, having barely come out of the outer sleeve.
