Description

This was bought in a small independent record shop in Scarborough in 1982. I was at school and I went in day after day for a week looking at it as it was £15 (a lot of money to a schoolboy then) before I could no longer resist. It is a double vinyl album complete with 7" single. The first LP is a recording of The Jam at the Hammersmith Odeon on 27.02.82 (from 'In Concert' on Radio 1). The second LP is a really bad recording of a concert somewhere, I really have no idea where but it is a bad recording. It sounds like someone has stood in the crowd holding up a tape recorder for the whole gig (no mp3 players or anything like that back then). The single is a copy of Start. It says it's the long version but what they've done is just restart the single part way through (it's that sort of beat that makes it easy to do) so it's not something the band ever actually recorded. I can't remember what the B-Side was but it says Theme from Woking. I have a feeling it may well just be the Start track again but I really can't remember, I've not actually played this album for 30 years.

I'm starting it at 14.99 as I I did pay that for it back then it seems fair enough. On a final note (and I'm sorry about this) I wrote 'Side One' and 'Side Two' in biro on actual record label. I was just a kid, I didn't know what I was doing).

On 11-May-13 at 18:21:19 BST, seller added the following information:

I'm sorry, I should just add a couple of notes about the actual album condition.

The vinyls LPs and single look really clean with no marks or scratches. The album cover looks like what it is, a 30 year old album cover. There are no noticable folds or creases but also it's not pristine. There is no inner sleeve for one of the LPs.
