Description

For auction here are these 4 early 1980s releases from The Jam / Style Council.
1) Sound Affects (The Jam). - Card inner sleeve/liner with lyrics printed on it. 2) Dig The New Breed (The Jam live) - Card inner sleeve/liner with 11 stage photos on it. 3) Introducing The Style Council - Plain white paper inner sleeve/liner. 4) Cafe' Bleu (The Style Council) - Blue paper inner sleeve/liner. One small scrape/scuff on it.
All 4 albums being sold as one lot.
Also included as a freebie for the buyer is 'Just Who Is The 5 O'Clock Hero' a 12'' Single by The Jam, added as a bonus. See my final two photos.
From my own personal collection, all bought new from my local record store (Reidy's in Blackburn), which is evident from the small yellow price sticker in the top right corner of a couple of them. From the very beginnings of The Jam, Reidy's reserved a copy of every Jam and (later on) Style Council record for me, as they were issued, both singles and LPs, so be assured they're all first pressings.
Stored in outer polythene covers (the 4 albums that is) throughout the decades, has protected the cardboard sleeves (polythene covers not included in the auction, as they wont fit comfortably in the mailers I use).
Only very minor handling/storage wear. The spine on each album is in great order and all still clearly readable (See photo 10).
Just one small nick to the rear opening edge of the 'Introducing' LP (Please see photo 11).
I no longer have a turntable nor access to one, so I can't play test the vinyl, but I am confident they will still play well, as I always looked after my records. Please refer to the last few additions of my eBay feedback and see what those buyers had to say about records they bought from me.
Some light storage dust on the vinyl, which will easily wipe clean.  The 'freebie' 12 inch single has some quite light smudging or moisture staining on the vinyl, which will probably clean off, but I'm sure it wont affect the playing of it in any significant way.
Please also see the 'condition description' panel and the photographs for further details.
I have provided 13 scans / photos. Not in any particular order, just to give you an overall view.  Click on the opposing arrows in the top right corner of my first image to enlarge it and then use the left & right arrows ( <    > ) to view the rest. Please also read all the additional, typed information I have included in a couple of the photos.
I do not specialise in vinyl sales, but I have sold dozens and dozens of records (probably 300+), albums, EP's and singles over the past 23 years here on eBay and I have never had a return or even a complaint. So bid with confidence.
I've never used any recognised grading system either, as I find them subjective and confusing. What one person regards as 'NM', another person would regard as only 'VG'. So please just be guided by my description(s) above and of course the pictures.
Postage & packing will be £5.99 (which includes the cost of the two Music O Max mailers they will be sent in), with 'Fragile' labels applied where necessary and your package will be posted using a Tracked service with the Royal Mail.
Because there's 5 records in total, I'll have to use two mailers taped together as one parcel, hence the slightly higher than normal shipping charge (£4.05 actual postage + £1.95 the cost of the 2 'top of the range' Defenda mailers). I have shipped in two mailers taped together quite a few times, including relatively recently. Your package will be safe & secure.
I can ship overseas, but all shipping will be via the Global Shipping Programme (ebay) and although I will post it to the GSP depot for the same UK postage costs, you will of course have to pay their charges for the rest of its journey, as well as any import charges, taxes etc they may add, so please check with them before bidding, as it can work out quite expensive.
GOOD LUCK
