The Jam: Snap! (UK double vinyl LP)
From my personal record collection, looked after and played by me since original purchase in 1983. The outer sleeve is in great condition and the inner sleeves have only minor creasing from handling and a few age related spots. It's 34 years old so all round it's in great shape for a record of this age. I keep the vinyl in Japanese anti static sleeves (see pictures) that fit nicely into the printed inners.
I've just cleaned it in my record cleaning machine with the award winning L'Art Du Son cleaning fluid so it's in the best possible condition for the next owner to enjoy. I've also just test played both records all the way through on both sides using my Project Debut Carbon turntable fitted with an Ortofon 2M Blue stylus. It has a few scuffs and marks on the vinyl when scrutinised under bright light, but nothing feel able that makes it jump, skip or stick. Sounds great, especially cranked up loud, but it has that warm vinyl crackle in between tracks and on the run ins. It's 34 years old so not dead silent in between songs like a CD, but the dynamic analogue sound is so much better than the digital reissues. A great album and both albums sit perfectly flat on the deck.
