Description
The Jam - Burning Sky (Possibly rare or maybe not!) This record shows as QO1JM 500 but has a funny colored dye effect on the record. From looking up I can only find the white version as below:
https://www.discogs.com/The-Jam-Burning-Sky/release/4712337
Sounds like a live recording and a bit noisy although maybe that's how there meant to be! Sorry not my genre of music so I know very little on this one apart from what it tells me on Discogs.
I bought the record in a job lot towards the end of last summer from someone who retired from doing house clearances. He said he stopped trading over 10 years ago which I believed from the dust on the crates!
The A side has someones pen marks with The Jam - Mod and Live written on it. I imagine done by the person who bought it rather than at pressing stage. Updated pic attached showing the code (Q01JM 500) etched into it.
Also found a random "EG" which could possibly be the technicians mark or the company behind it possibly.
Any other questions let me know. Thanks
On 04-Feb-19 at 21:55:20 GMT, seller added the following information: No evident deep scratches which knocks the needle off. There's quite a bit of noise in the quiet sections but I can't really tell if its surface noise on the record or poor recording from the concert.
The playlist is the same as the white version of Burning Sky listed on Discogs and the singer announces each song beforehand which helped as I had no idea at first!
The record came to me in a plain paper sleeve with no particular useful markings or artwork unfortunately.
I will send by insured postage.
