Description
1981 US promotional gatefold pressing of The Jacksons – Live (Epic KE2 37545).
Recorded on the Triumph Tour, this set captures Michael, Jackie, Tito, Marlon, and Randy at their peak—featuring both Jackson 5 classics and Michael’s early solo hits.
Condition:
• Sleeve: VG+ (minor edge/corner wear, light scuffing, bright gloss, spine text intact, gold “For Promotion Only” stamp on back).
• Vinyl: Record 1 = NM (deep gloss, no visible wear, plays beautifully). Record 2 = EX (light sleeve marks, clean labels, excellent playback). Original printed inner sleeves included.
Track Highlights: “Can You Feel It,” “Off the Wall,” “Don’t Stop ’Til You Get Enough,” “Rock With You,” “Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground),” plus a medley of Jackson 5 hits.
Promo copies in this condition are increasingly hard to find.
Goldmine Standard Grading: Sleeve / Vinyl.
Playback & Grading Notes
This record was visually inspected and play-tested on a recently serviced Pro-Ject Debut Carbon turntable equipped with an Ortofon 2M Blue stylus. Playback quality may vary depending on your individual setup, including cartridge type, stylus condition, tracking force, and speaker system.
Vinyl is graded conservatively under strong light using the Goldmine Standard (Sleeve / Vinyl). While I do my best to note any flaws, vintage records may have minor pops or surface noise—even those in excellent condition. Promo copies, older pressings, or those with original inner sleeves may also include factory or storage-related imperfections.
