The In Crowd - “That’s How Strong My Love Is” / “Things She Says”
Label: Tower 147 (Original 1965 Pressing)
Condition: VG
This is an oddball. Let me explain in case you don’t know. So, looking online at all the popular haunts, there’s the UK version. Ton of those. The scarcer American Capital version with very few entries into popsike and a few into Discogs has sold and has relevant price data. But, Capital’s illegitimate child corporation they apparently created to send all the British Invasion bands that they didn’t know what to do with (Remember they pass on the Beatles a few times and, I don’t know about you, but when I think of the “Authentic Beatles,” I don’t particularly reach for my U.S. Capital pressings), has 2016 sale on Discogs (60) and 1 2019 sale on eBay (via Popsike) for about 135 or something. So, very rare for this one. Plus, these guys fit great between Freddie and The Dreamers and The Standells.
Condition is VG. There’s just a couple scuffs, but they don’t affect play (listen below) and the labels are gorgeous. I have actually put a giant spotlight on the offending marks so you can easily see it. These are exaggerated; the light is not typically 1000 suns coming down on us. But, this seemed a good chance to be fully transparent. It comes in a Tower factory sleeve and a generic white
One, as well. Thanks for putting up with me. I’ll be here all week, folks.
