Description
This is a copy of the LP Silver's Serenade by The Horace Silver Quintet, first pressing mono US issue from 1963 on Blue Note BLP 4131.
The etched matrices are BNLP - 4131 A and BNLP - 4131 B with VAN GELDER stamped into both sides and an "ear" or P symbol etched into both sides. The P denotes Plastilite.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition with no scuffs, scratches or other blemishes. The labels are spotless with no stains, spindle lines, writing, stickers or scuffs.The front-laminated cover is in Excellent condition. There are no scuffs, tape, ring wear, shelf wear, tears or splits. There is a small name written on the back (in the top left-hand corner) and a UK import tax sticker on the back. The spine is perfectly readable and the cardboard feels crisp and solid. The address of Blue Note is written as 43 West 61st St., New York 23.
The original Blue Note, printed paper inner sleeve has a few faint handling creases.
The clear plastic inner sleeve has a little creasing and wrinkling.
