THE HOLLIES - 'HOLLIES GREATEST'
1968 UK 1st UK MONO PRESSING LP
This MINT/UNPLAYED 1st hits package dates from initial release in August 1968 and contains all their hits from 1963-68 with many released here for the 1st time in stereo.
The disc bears the familiar yellow & black Parlophone labels - PCS 7057 - with the 'Sold in UK..' text & have 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
Housed in front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover & complete with its original red EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

Both are in perfect condition with just a single light trail to the side 2 centre hole - made by stacking in the factory rather than play.
Visual: MINT
Pristine 'as new' factory-fresh playing surfaces which are completely unmarked & unblemished in strong daylight AND directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp. You won't find better.
Play: MINT/UNPLAYED
If you are looking at this listing, no doubt you will be aware that this this album contains the best stereo sources for all these great tracks and you won't find another copy to upgrade this.

EXCELLENT
A superb clean & strong example which displays just a few light spine wrinkles and a faint disc impression from storage, but no other signs of its 42 years. The rear panel is pristine white and still bears the original retailer's sticker along the upper flipback. There is a little storagewear to edge of the lower right flipback, but overall this is a highly respectable example with unstressed seams and a perfectly worded spine.
