For Presidents' Day, I offer you The Happy Cadavers' killer, self-released KBD DIY classic from 1982 -- a minimal synth punk landmark!
Never reissued -- but you can hear the whole thing here: Killed By Death Records
All four songs are incredible, but in my opinion they saved the best for last.
I live in Louisville, Kentucky, where the record was released, and I can tell you it is extremely rare even here.

Engineered by Jeff Carpenter, the guy who recorded the amazing Endtables tracks!
Guitarist David Grubbs went on to play in Squirrel Bait, Bastro, Gastr del Sol, and the Red Krayola. This is his first appearance on record.
Vinyl: EXCELLENT
The vinyl is extremely clean, with only a few very light paper scuffs visible under strong light. It lies flat, with no warping. There is a trace of surface noise between songs. The whole thing sounds GREAT. The paper labels are extremely clean, with only a couple very light spindle marks visible under strong light.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Happy Cadavers covers were printed on a fairly thin, white matte paper stock, which shows dirt and wear very easily. This copy is in great shape, with an absolute minimum of wear, and just a trace of seam splitting on the left and right edge at center. There is a very slight, superficial paper tear above the V in "Cadavers," where a price sticker was carefully removed. I have shown a close-up of this area in the final photo.
Both the record and the printed sleeve are in fabulous shape for their 33 years!

The record will be packed carefully in a custom cardboard mailer. The cover will be protected in a plastic sleeve, and the record with be shipped outside the cover (in a paper sleeve) to prevent seam splits. I will ship within two business days following receipt of payment.
