Description
Original UK rough orange CBS label mono LP.The first Gun LP released in 1968, after the success of their March single 'Race With The Devil', later copied by Hendrix at the Isle Of Wight Festival. They recorded a second LP in 1969 before splitting up, but re-emerged as Three Man Army in 1971. This is the original pressing with the orange CBS label with the first A-1 B-1 matrices and A-1 A-2 stampers of the very 1st presses.
The Ernest J. Day front laminated sleeve is in VG+ condition, with some corner/edge wear and laminare rubbing/creasing on the front cover and some light storage rubbing on the rear cover. The spine is intact, but is no longer readable, the CBS inner is intact, discoloured and in VG+ condition.
The record is in visually VG+ condition, with a few faint sleeve removal hairlines and few light needle marks/scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a few faint spindle markings on each side.
The sound reproduction is VG+ to EX, clear & vibrant throughout, with no crackle or hiss & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves and occassional pops caused by a couple of the needle marks. Overall, still a really great listen, which plays much better than it looks. The matrix nos. are 63552, A-1 mother stamper A-1, B-1 mother stamper A-2. This is the one of the earliest pressings of the original 1968 UK mono 1st issue of the album.

All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2kg,
Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Finland, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to 2kg weight restrictions.
