The Gun Club - Fire Of Love LP JR102 (Ruby, USA, 1981)
Original US Pressing with Green Flame, No Barcode. Gold/Red Ruby Labels.
Not a repro!
One of the greatest debuts of all time. Anyone with an interest in punk, rockabilly, American gothic and blues should hold this LP very close to their heart and never let go. Essential.
Condition (I Grade NM / EX / VG+ / VG / VG- / G / F)
Sleeve - (CONDITION) VG+ - The sleeve still has it's shrink on, although this has now got worn. Corner wear - one corner is quite bumped. The others are fine. There's a light smudge where the shrink has come away. No ringwear or splits. Spine perfectly legible.
Record - (CONDITION) EX Has seen very little play. Some marks and scuffs on vinyl, caused by the sleeve and storage, nothing which affects the sound. The record sounds fantastic and fresh - though there is a light crackle and surface noise in places. I'd think it needs a good clean to get the best out of it! No issues such with clicky scratches, skips or jumps.
Who wants this? This is a stunning album, and a great original copy with the correct colour scheme sleeve! Sonically this has more presence and power than any CD of it I've heard...

- I remove records from their outer sleeves to avoid splitting. All records are packed in a plastic sleeve for extra protection.
