MEGA RARE The Guess Who AMERICAN WOMAN Vinyl Record 1970 RCA WHITE LABEL PROMO - MISLABEL?
This original 1970 white label promo copy is extremely rare and this one in particular is very strange, as Side 1 is The Guess Who "American Woman", while Side 2 is the Scottish progressive rock group's debut album Forever More "Yours Forever More" and with the tracks from that album's Side 1. Not sure how this happened at the press but when we researched the albums from both bands, it appeared they would have been pressed in 1970 by RCA and this pressing mistake must have happened at the pressing plant. 
The album was recovered from a batch of used records and is not in the best of condition and there is no jacket or cover that came with it. We will ship with a generic sleeve. Overall quality grade is VG. The vinyl is glossy, and the labels are in great condition. There are a few scuffs/scratches on the vinyl and so we play tested the entire album. The sound quality of this pressing is very nice and yet there are 2 or 3 tracks which have some light popping and crackle. Otherwise, the music is surely enjoyable and good sounding. The entire album played with no skips or repeats.
This Guess Who white label promo has only been auctioned a handful of times and this misprint/mispress may very well be a one and only copy based on the limited information we could find on this album.
