Some information about this album from the Glenn A. Baker blurb on the back sleeve:
The Group emerged out of Melbourne's ultra-exclusive Wesley College around 1964 from a folk outfit called The Oxford Trio (Richard Wright, Max Ross, Peter McKeddie). Guitarist Peter Bruce, who answered an add in a music shop window, was a recent arrival from England, where he had been excess baggage in the Dave Clark Six. Describing themselves as 'The Melbourne Sound - negro folk blues'(!?), The Groop found instant work in the frantic party scene of Melbourne's upper social strata.
There's a heap more I didn't want to type out, but if you know the Australian music scene of this period, I don't have to tell you all this information - eh?
This record is marked as a Sample Record - Not for Sale, and has hardly been played, so it's in great nick. The sleeve has some minor scuffing.
