This series of Classical Records and supporting information booklet was produced in the early 80s' as a weekly issue.

My set is the main Classical set of 52 LPs and Booklets in 4 storage volumes. There was an additional set of 13 for the Operas.

All records are in pristine condition and the majority have been played once or not at all. No scratches, in original paper sleeve and outer pictorial cover sleeve. In addition, each LP is inserted into a clear plastic wallet to keep all dust out.

The original cost of each weekly issue of LP and booklet was £2.95. In today's terms that's around £400.

Each weekly guide tells the story of the Composer in question and some historical background against which the work was written. There is also a Listener's guide for while you listen to the music explaining the major themes and underlying meaning of the work.
