Description

Deadheads will not want to pass up this one!!!

In this auction:

·        “TERRAPIN STATION” by The Grateful Dead

·        This is Arista AL-7001.

·        It was released in 1977.

·        But this is not just your average run-of-the-mill copy of “TERRAPIN STATION”. This is the WHITE LABEL DJ PROMO COPY that was “Specially Banded for Air Play” (see sticker on the cover).

·        As you may know, PROMO RECORDS were only issued in very limited quantities by record companies to the radio stations and DJs for airplay and they were not made available to the general public. But here is your chance to acquire this one.

·        This is a hard-to-find Promo Grateful Dead LP these days, but here is a copy for the high bidder.

·        The COVER is GRADED VERY STRONG VG+ CONDITION. Just some light cover wear and edge wear keep me from grading this LP Near Mint.

·        It has the rare sticker about the banding on the front cover.

·        The rear cover has the embossed in gold print “Demonstration Not For Sale”.

·        It comes with its ORIGINAL CUSTOM INNER SLEEVE that is NEAR MINT with NO SPLITS.

·        The VINYL is NEAR MINT.

·        The WHITE PROMO LABELS are SNOWY WHITE.

·        A GREAT PROMO GRATEFUL DEAD LP for YOUR vinyl collection!

FYI: I use Goldmine Grading Standards (G for Good, VG for Very Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to VISUALLY grade the LPs and 45s I auction, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding. Please ask any questions before bidding. And please check my other auctions for other LPs you may want to add to your collection. Be high bidder on several and combine shipping on items that finish the same day. Winning bidder must remit payment within 5 days of auction close by PayPal. Add $4.00 for shipping to a U.S. address via media mail with tracking.
