Description
For sale is a original press of Graham Bond Organizations “The Sound of 65”
Columbia EMI 33sx 1711
Mono
This is the UK press. And was never officially released in the US.
If you are familiar with this band, you will know how rare this album is. Contains both Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce. Pre Dates Cream. This group was the catalyst for forming Cream.
Condition: 8/10
Sleeve: VG+/ EX
Vinyl: EX/ NM-
If you are familiar with mid 1960’s EMI presses (think Beatles, Stones) you will know that the sleeve contains a “flimsy” card stock with a glossy finish.
This cover will not feel like the hard cardstock US albums from the 70’s. But rest assured! It’s original.
The sleeve contains a few stains, as seen in the pictures. But overall in great condition considering how old and rare it is!
The vinyl itself is very clean and shinny. Classic EMI Blue label. Sticker that reads “Not For Resale” meaning that it was probably a demo sent out to radio stations! Upon visual inspection, it would be graded VG+/EX. There are a few marks present. But they DO NOT affect playback. This record plays NM!
Snag this before someone else does! It is truly a piece of Rock history! And will stand out in any collection
