Reliford, crossed back in 1957 in a little country church located in Southern Indiana where they felt impressed to originate a gospel singing team called THE GOSPEL BROTHERS. In 1958, one year following the team’s origination, God opened a marvelous door of opportunity through the medium of radio for THE GOSPEL BROTHERS to sing and declare the gospel of good news. For seven years the gospel was both sung and preached over Radio Station WSLM, Salem, Indiana. People began enjoying this God-given talent and in 1960 it was our privilege to cut our first recording consisting of two of our most popular songs one of which appears on this stereo album. For some time it has been our heart’s desire to take our most requested songs which have proven a blessing to countless thousands and place them on a long play stereo album. This God has enabled us to do! In this troubled and preplexed generation in which men are so busy, our sincere prayer is that from these twelve most requested songs of our ministry, there in the privacy of your home not only will you receive countless blessings but also that you may pause from time to time and be refreshed in the Spirit of God and that this album of songs may serve to enrich your lives and draw you even closer to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, who made this ministry possible. Our sincere thanks go to the entire assembly of musicians who through many untiring hours labored to make this album enjoyable. A special recognition and thanks goes to our two young sons, Timothy Reliford, age 11, featured on the bass guitar and Kevin Crase, age 10, featured on the drums, for their talented contribution.
