About This Release
Released in 1994 on the legendary Sympathy For The Record Industry label, Get Thee Gone captures The Geraldine Fibbers at the beginning of their rise as one of the most distinctive underground American bands of the decade.
Led by Carla Bozulich, the band blended country, punk, folk, noise, and raw alternative rock into a sound that helped define the darker and stranger edges of the alt-country movement. This 10" EP includes original material alongside memorable interpretations of classics like Jolene and The Grand Tour.
The original Aron's Records Hollywood sticker adds a great period-specific Los Angeles record-store touch to this already collectible copy.
