Description

This rare Reggae 7" record features The Gay Lads with their iconic tune: "Lady With The Red Dress On".  B-side is "A Dinner For Two". This particular record is the original 1966 Jamaican release issued on the much sought after black Coxsone label.  The vinyl is rated VG purely because of the visible scuffs and scrapes caused by past handling.  Side A has some noticeable crackles at the start but they soon fade and hardly notice for most of the tune.  The B side can be described as pretty much the same.  The close up photos show the worst of the scuffs, but there are no jumps or skips anywhere, and I think the vinyl plays better than it looks.  The label is VG+ and just has some small writing on side B that is hard to see without turning the label into the light.  This is a true classic, and is priced very favourably according to label rarity and comparable values.
